ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK is the largest international event organized in Romania dedicated to contemporary jewelry,
organized by Assamblage National Jewelry Association since 2020.
Every year it includes a large area of exhibitions, fairs, conferences, workshops, seminars & guided tours,
with one main area as well as other satellite locations.
Precious Collective is represented by 6 members and is excited and honoured to have been selected to once more

'The Space Between'

At the 1st ever 'Cagnes-Sur_Mer Jewellery Week' 2nd to 5th of May 2024
Château-Musée Grimaldi
54 selected members from 31 different countries of the international art jewellery group Precious Collective have been chosen to exhibit their response to the theme 'The Space Between'.
This curated show began its journey in London at the Magan Gallery with 34 members, before growing into its current form and travelling to Munich for the 'Munich Jewellery Week', then part of the 'Ferrous Festival' (Heredford, UK)
Finally traveling to France to be part of this very exciting 1st ever Jewellery Week in the South of France; curated and organised by Juan Riusech of Alliages, Isabelle Busnel and Sébastien Carré

A new contemporary jewellery destination in the French Riviera with exhibitions, conferences, movies and workshops.
Cagnes-sur-Mer is found on the French riviera between Nice and Antibes. Cagnes consists of three separate parts: Cagnes-sur-Mer, the seaside resort; Cagnes town just behind the resort; and Haut-de-Cagnes, the original settlement on the hill behind.
The exhibitions, lectures and workshops will all take place in the Haut-de-Cagnes, the medieval part of the town. Standing as it does in the location of an earlier village occupied in turn by both the greeks and the Romans, Haut-de-Cagnes has lots of old narrow lanes and stairways to explore and at the top of the hill is the castle for which the town is best known.
The Chateau Grimaldi was once the most important centre in the region, when the Grimaldi family were all rich and all powerful, and dates from the 14th-16th centuries.

The individual elements do not have a 'traditional' magnetism ...
They draw themselves together and find their partners
They attract each other
They know who they do and who they do not want to be beside
Their magnetism is not controlled by me ...
The universe and the elements draw to and away from each other
They know who are the important 'others' that they have to be with
They know who they will best work together with and those that will cancel them out
Their magnetism is strong, it is elemental and it is the way that it should be
I am just the pair of hands that pick them up, bring them to my space, listen to them and let myself be channeled through their magnetic elemental power.

Are you happy with you?
do you feel safe, strong and secure?
do you look after yourself
or
do you forget to take care?
Is the world around you happy?
Is it safe, strong and secure?
do you think about your actions towards it
or
do you just not care?
To be happy is hard ...
we are often broken
we often need help
Life is hard for our mother earth ...
she is broken by many of our actions
she needs our help
Anahata Chakra, located at our heart ... is our center of love for self and others
compassion, empathy and forgiveness,
unconditional love and joy
But ...
It needs protection ...
When open it allows us to see all the beauty and love around us
to connect to ourselves,
our loved ones
and
the natural world
It helps to direct love back to ourselves
to be able to love
and
accept ourselves
and
our bodies
to be happy
But ...
To be open it needs help
We need help
The elements they are strong
The elements they will help us
But ...
We need to give back
through our actions
through our thoughts
and
through our thanks
We should not just take or expect ...
as we have done for thousands of years
It is time to get serious about loving mother earth
loving ourselves
and
loving others
unconditionally
loving the elements
loving what they can give to us
and
giving thanks In order for us to take
To not take this seriously
As we glide towards an uncertain future
Is no laughing matter.
