This collection of 10 members’ work will indulge and demonstrate that, for our members, all materials are and should be celebrated as precious. It strongly demonstrates their joyous, imaginative response to expressing individual ideas of what 'mixed materials' really encompass. The enduring ‘precious jewellery norm’ of gold and diamonds is challenged by this group's witty interpretation of body adornment, process making and celebrates, above all else, material in all its forms and combinations. |

It warms, illuminates & reminds us that change is part of growth. Water flows with adaptability & renewal, shaping landscapes & sustaining every living thing. Air is movement, breath & connection. It carries sound, spreads seeds & fills us with life through every inhale. These elements are vital to our very being with self being the fifth; where earth’s stability, fire’s spirit, water’s flexibility & air’s freedom meet, creating balance & understanding ... the unique essence of who we truly are. |
