is everywhere.
its the stuff you throw away
or
no longer want.
We are drowning under piles of it
it's wrapped around the stuff we buy to eat
or
things that we broke
stopped wearing
or even
bought and never ever used
It ends up in ….
landfill
charity shops
hedges
or washed up on a beach.
Its ….
ugly
wasteful
pollutes our lives
is ….
depressing
and will out-live us
and hang around us for millions of years
BUT
it can also be ….
beautiful
ridiculous
unique
fun
quirky
bonkers
or
it can even make us laugh.
It can evoke fond memories
of
the finding
receiving
giving
and
collecting of it
It can empower us
and
make us want to question
both our own
and
others consumerism.
When combined with things that have a history ….
and their own unique stories ….
then it can become as precious as a diamond
then
TRASH ….
becomes priceless.
