So what an amazing time to start my new blog: International Woman's Day is on the *th March ....

We went live today ...

I feel very honoured and happy to be part of the 5th collaboration between Terytoria Stowarzyzone
​and the Fish Factory in Penryn. To celebrate International Woman's day ​'The Force of Women' went live today ....

'THE FORCE OF WOMEN'
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY ONLINE EXHIBITION

This International Women's Day we are pleased to announce the 5th anniversary of collaboration between The Fish Factory Arts in Cornwall, UK & Associated Territories aka
​TERYTORIA STOWARZYSZONE an incredible art organisation in Poland, Pomerania.

The two organisations will present an online group exhibition with artists from the UK, Poland and Denmark titled "The Force of Women."

The online exhibition will go live on the 6th March, the weekend before the official International Women's Day on the 8th March 2021.

Although all the contributing artists are separated by distance, art offers a synthesis of ideas, ​innovation and creativity in such conflicting times.

A massive thank you to Terytoria Stowarzyszone for asking me to be part of this wonderful event and also all those who have worked so hard behind the scenes to make this exciting exhibition possible ...

This exhibition is presented in quite a funky format ... once you get used to how it works it lets you trundle around the exhibition ... and no-one gets in between you and the pieces exhibited ..

So we at @precious.collective are extremely excited to have our project 'Precious Things in times of uncertainty' chosen to take part in Radiant Pavilion ...

This adventure of showing in Melbourne is a joint venture with Juan Riusech (Alliages, Lille).
​We are so pleased to be able to work with Juan whose passion, creativity and amazing organisational skills are astounding.

This amazing event takes place from the 4th to the 12th of September in Melbourne ...

Melbourne Contemporary Jewellery and Object Biennial

Radiant Pavilion is a celebration of the many aspects of contemporary jewellery and object practice in Melbourne and around the world.

Drawing from the strong community surrounding contemporary jewellery and object in Melbourne, Radiant Pavilion has taken shape over the past five years and encompasses events from national and international artists.
​
In 2015 the curated program ran from 1-6 September and showcased 217 artists from 17 countries in 57 events including urban interventions, performances, installations, exhibitions, talks and open studios. 

In 2017 the program ran from 26 August - 3 September 2017, presenting the work of 324 artists through 80 events, and was accompanied by two writing projects featuring eight writers and three professional practice seminars.

Along with the Radiant Pavilion on-line exhibition, Alliages will be hosting the physical version.

This will be the third time that Precious has ​worked with Alliages ... it will not be the last as there is more exciting news coming soon but ...
